Sydney Opera House - Official Tours Films 2015-2019

In 2015 I was commissioned to make a multilingual documentary about the history of Sydney Opera House for the public tours of the building, and this year I’ve just finished refreshing the project.

The finished film was originally produced in seven languages, with different edits which gave the guides maximum flexibility in terms of the flow of the tour, which tends to differ based upon what’s going on around the House at any one time. The new version, condensed to about seven minutes, gives the hundreds of tourists who take the tour each day, a historic sense of place, history and the building’s origins, construction and controversial completion.
